​​Edgar Ortiz is the Regional Director of Market Development of Capital Active Funding, Inc. ("CAFI"). 

Although he is the newest member of CAFI, Edgar brings extensive background knowledge of business from Retail, Healthcare, and Social Media. Attended and graduated from University of Phoenix with an MBA, and has an undergrad in Business Management.

Edgar was the Regional Sales Manager for Concentra that covered Arizona and West Texas region with multimillion-dollar budgets. Developed and implement programs that support, analyze, and execute the training of the Account Executives thru Acclivus Coaching.


As the Regional Director, Edgar is responsible for building the Texas/Arizona market development function at CAFI and making recommendations of sales/marketing based on strategic understanding of the markets.

Frank M. Bashore is the President of Capital Active Funding, Inc ("CAFI"). He founded and formed CAFI along with a retired Commercial Construction General Contractor and a local businessman in June 1995.


Attended and graduated from UTEP and graduated with a Graduate Degree from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas.


Frank was the Senior Vice-President of Commercial Loans and Compliance Officer with several commercial banks including El Paso National Bank, First City Banks and InterFirst Banks of Texas.


He has served on several boards over the years including, U.S. Small Business Administration Board, El Paso Certified Development Corporation Board, and Boy Scouts of America. He was also named the Business Advocate of the Year with the SBA.
